Head Trainer
Carter Hewett
Carter is the team's head trainer and Honalee's owner. She has been around horses all her life and has an extensive background coaching and showing. She was also voted Top 10 Young Professionals in Brunswick County. We are very thankful for everything she has done for this team. Her support for the girls is endless.
Assistant Trainer
Taylor Yeaton
Taylor is our assistant trainer from Oak Island. She has experience with both hunters and jumpers, with a particular focus on jumpers, having trained with Olympian Jimmy Wofford for a few years. She coached a handful of IEA teams until 2018 and went to Nationals every year. After her showing career, she managed a few show barns and is now helping Carter build Honalee's lesson program and the UNCW IHSA team. We appreciate everything she does for the team!
